ARISE Maronite Youth Convention

The ARISE Convention is a national gathering of Maronite young people established by the Maronite Youth Diocesan Council (MYDC). It is an opportunity to instill and foster positive relations between young people across our Maronite Eparchy with a focus on deepening their relationship with Jesus by learning more about their Maronite community and identity, in the hope of strengthening their faith, cultivating their spirituality and consolidating their contribution to the Maronite Church and to the wider Australian Community.
The Convention will include major keynote speakers, various workshops, group activities, Mass, Adoration and other outdoor activities.
The Maronite Youth Diocesan Council (MYDC) is hosting the event
from December 2nd- 4th 2022, for the youth of the Maronite Eparchy of Australia. ​

The purpose of the ARISE convention:

Provides opportunities to encounter Christ

Workshops and talks designed to discuss the issues and challenges in the lives of Maronite youth in Australia;

Provide information about vocations, teachings of the Maronite Church, the Maronite liturgy and prayers;

Prepare youth for evangelisation and to build them up to become evangelisers of the faith.​
