The Maronite Youth Australia (Organiser), functioning under The Trustees of the Roman Catholic Church for the Diocese of Saint Maron Sydney, may, at its sole discretion, accept the above-mentioned minor’s entry into the ‘Maronite Sports Day’ (Event), provided that I agree and declare that:
a) The participant’s presence at the event will be entirely at my own risk;
b) I will ensure that the above mentioned minor does not participate in the Event unless they are medically and physically fit to do so;
c) I release and discharge, to the maximum extent permitted by law, the Organiser from:
i. all responsibility or liability arising from any act, omission, or neglect causing loss or damage to the participant’s personal property to them or death; and
ii. all claims, suits, actions or proceedings or demands, costs, charges and liabilities now or in the future of whatsoever nature, arising out of or in any manner whatsoever connected with my presence at or participation in the Event;
d) This document may (to the maximum extent permitted by law) be pleaded in any court as a bar to any action, suit, claim, cause of action or proceedings commenced or at any time to be commenced by me or by any person claiming through me or on my behalf against all or any of the Organiser, any sponsor of the Event and any person, corporation or body involved or otherwise engaged in staging or promoting the Event, arising out of or in relation to or in any manner whatsoever connected with my presence at or participation in the Event;
e) That I will not engage in any behaviour which is deemed inappropriate and not befitting of this Event and will respect the instructions of the Organiser.
